Bungy Jumping

Only 3 hours from Paris is a place of great historic significance. It also holds strong metaphoric bonds to the jumps that started it all, through its builder, the great Gustave Eiffel. The old railway bridge has long ago collapsed
but the impressive 61m stone columns are still standing and have been interconnected by an exhilarating suspension foot-bridge, to give access to the jump deck.

The site is open from March through November every weekend and for every day from mid june through mid september .

There is a new company based just outside the historic town of Vire, you can get to their awesome site and brilliant green lanes in the same time as it would take to get to many places in the U.K. 

What a difference that bit of water makes!

It is a different world there – clear roads, green lanes that are legally driveable and 50 acres of off-road driving course purpose built to suit everyone from the complete novice to those with experience of off-road days or ‘Landrover Experience’.

There are many other activities to be enjoyed locally. We recommend the bungee jumping at the viaduct, sailing on the nearby lake or the local clay pigeon shoot.

Other opportunities

Why not take the kids too and let them have the opportunity to drive on some bumpy ground? They will need to be tall enough to reach the pedals and see where they are going – ‘cos it helps!! You can do this in your 4x4 or one of thiers!

Car clubs

Fancy a meet where it's less formal than your run of the mill English caravan park?? They have a barn if the weather is English (!), plenty of parking and can provide the framework for that annual meet. Why not email or give them a ring to chat about it?
